Stronger Together: How Steel Fencing is Helping Communities Enhance Safety and Security
For over a century, ARC Fences has been a trusted manufacturer of top-quality pool, garden, home, and security fencing in Australia.
Our team from ARC Fences has been involved in several projects aimed at improving safety and security in communities across Australia.
Recent projects that have featured ARC Fences include:
Elizabeth Street, North Richmond Playground and Reserve Upgrade in Victoria: ARC Fences partnered with Naturform to install a boundary fence around an upgraded playground and sporting reserve. The project involved the supply and installation of over 370 metres of Australian made panels, as well as caps, flanges, and tek screws. The initiative is part of the North Richmond transformation , which seeks to create an inclusive, thriving precinct for the community.
1800s Country Railway Station Upgrade: Before the installation, ARC Fences worked closely with the customer to ensure that the fence was safe and matched the bluestone exterior colour of the station. ARC Fences provided a solution that involved installing 21 panels of Acacia fencing, which were powder-coated to blend in perfectly.
Local Primary School Fencing Upgrade: ARC Fences were selected to remove over 50 lineal meters of existing Acacia Style Wire Weldmesh Panels and replace them with taller panels that blended in to suit the schools recent building upgrades. The project had strict delivery and construction timelines, which were managed effectively.
Aboriginal Land Council Fencing Upgrade: ARC Fences supplied more than 45 tonnes of fencing for the upgrade of the Aboriginal Land Council in Walgett, NSW. The order comprised 1800 pcs Garden Weldmesh Panels 1500mm high and 1800 pcs of RHS 50sqmm Posts in powder-coated satin black and over 3600 caps. Work on the project is in progress, with two out of four double bed trucks already delivered. The project is scheduled to be completed by mid May 2023.
ARC Fences has collaborated one of its largest distributors, to secure a significant project with the Southern Program Alliance on the Hurstbridge Rail Corridor. The Diamond Creek rail extension project will entail constructing more than 3.5km of fencing along the rail corridors, which translates to approximately 1450 panels. Our GNPL2418 Panels, produced at our Infrabuild Reinforcing Sunshine site using wire sourced from our Infrabuild Wire business, will be distributed through ARC, showcasing a smooth partnership.
