SENSE 600® recognised across Australia and the world

InfraBuild’s SENSE 600® reinforcing steel continues to make headlines, collecting awards across engineering, design and sustainability categories both nationally and internationally. The recognition cements SENSE 600® as one of Australia’s most significant advances in construction materials.

Developed and manufactured locally using 100 per cent scrap in InfraBuild’s Electric Arc Furnaces, SENSE 600® delivers the same strength and performance as standard Grade 500 steel while using 16.7 per cent less raw materials and reducing embodied carbon by up to 39 per cent.

At the Concrete Institute of Australia’s NSW Awards, SENSE 600® was recognised for advancing concrete design and construction through more efficient, lower-embodied-carbon reinforcement.
