Graduates attend first Rod and Bar Manufacturing Asset Reliability Workshop

7 December 2023

A group of graduate mechanical and electrical engineers, as well as two newly appointed reliability engineers recently attended the first Rod & Bar Manufacturing Asset Reliability Workshop over the course of two days in November.

The aim of the workshop was to re-establish common language and standardised, proven approaches to manage equipment reliability.

Covered in the workshop included reliability theory – with the core message being about the importance of the relationship between operational reliability and safety, and the shared responsibility every employee has.

The workshop also covered many other key elements and ended with the team splitting into two groups and giving a presentation.

A massive congrats to those who attended, including Vishal Gangaram, Aakash Nithyanandam, Mario Sorial, Bryce Holliday, Aaron Lim, Wade Logue, Liam Crowe-Owen, Etzard Grimbeek, Denver Wickremasinghe and Antonie Jacobs.
