InfraBuild’s New Mesh Plant is Certified

24 July 2025

InfraBuild’s state of the art new mesh plant in Newcastle has hit another key milestone with certification by the Australian Certification Authority for Reinforcing Steels.

ACRS certification verifies the integrity and reliability of the steel produced at the plant and provides customers with assurance that the steel complies with relevant Australian and New Zealand standards.

As part of the process to be certified steel samples were taken and independently tested.

“This certification ensures the Newcastle plant can sell to customers and marks another important step on our journey to full production,” Head of Mesh Manufacturing Harley Barlow said.

We are very excited to see InfraBuild’s vision for mesh manufacturing come to life. This new facility includes advanced technology and a higher production capacity, enabling InfraBuild to take a leap forward in terms of manufacturing capability.”

The arrival of new machinery and its installation marks the next phase of the project and brings us a step closer to being fully operational.

Accreditation of our trench mesh machine is also expected to be concluded shortly.

Stay tuned for more updates.
