This year’s National Reconciliation Week theme, Bridging Now to Next, is about recognising that reconciliation is an ongoing effort. It connects the past, present and future, and calls on all Australians to step forward together and keep making progress.
InfraBuild, as part of GFG Alliance, is proud to be one of more than 2,200 organisations that delivered a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) in FY24. Together, these organisations have had a real impact*:
- Over $4.8 billion in goods and services were procured from First Nations-owned businesses
- 740 First Nations people held executive leadership roles, an increase of more than 20 percent
- 25,237 contracts were entered into with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations, up 42 percent
- Nearly one million employees took part in cultural learning activities
We have completed the commitments outlined in our Reflect RAP and are now developing our Innovate RAP. This next stage focuses on more meaningful and lasting change. Work is already underway, with plans to release our Innovate RAP in the second half of 2025.
Reconciliation is not a one-time event. It is a shared responsibility and a commitment we make every day.
