Rallying for cancer research

20 June 2024

Driving from Melbourne to Alice Springs is no easy feat, but this year’s Sh!tbox Rally will see a whole host of eager participants do just that. Taking place this June, the week-long rally will see teams drive a $1,500 car across the country in support of Cancer Council Australia.

The Sh!tbox Rally is a unique fundraising event that brings together passionate individuals to rally across the country in quirky, low-budget vehicles to raise funds for cancer research, prevention, and support services.

This year, the team we’re supporting is being headed up by Callum Erfurth, who works at MKM Steel.

“If the car makes the trip to Alice Springs OK (hopefully!), we will most certainly contemplate making this a yearly event,” says Callum.

“This is our first time trying something like this, so we reached out to our preferred suppliers and customers to see if they would like to join us in our endeavor, hence the contact to Infrabuild as a potential sponsor.

“We all very excited.”

MKM has been a loyal customer of ours for over 20 years. Working closely together, our steel supports MKM in providing fabricated structural steelwork for the industrial factory construction market.

MKM specializes in the fabrication and installation of structural steelwork used for the construction of large span roofed buildings such as factories or other commercial buildings.

MKM provide a genuine, efficient, and relationship-based service which sees them get great repeat business and loyalty from their key builder accounts.

We wish MKM and the team the very best of luck.
