Grade 500 Reinforcing Mesh EPD

This Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) covers the environmental impacts of InfraBuild’s Grade 500 reinforcing mesh, manufactured by InfraBuild to AS/NZS 4671 (Steel for the reinforcement of concrete).

This EPD is an update of the previous InfraBuild EPD and is valid for a declared unit of one tonne (t) of product ready for dispatch to a customer.

The GWP for InfraBuild’s Grade 500 Reinforcing Mesh product is 1,940 kg CO₂eq / t steel.

Material Circularity Indicator (MCI) metrics and pre- and post-consumer recycled content percentages have been developed and included for the products covered in this EPD.

The total pre- and post-consumer recycled content is 65.1 %.

The Material Circularity Indicator (MCI) is 75.1 %.
