Our commitment to safety and respect 

On White Ribbon Day, InfraBuild stands with all people affected by family and domestic violence. Violence of any kind is unacceptable. We are committed to supporting employees who may be impacted and to fostering a workplace culture based on respect, safety and care. 

CEO Francisco Irazusta said: 

“Family and domestic violence is a serious issue that affects communities and workplaces across Australia. At InfraBuild, we are committed to supporting anyone who is impacted and creating a safe environment where people feel able to seek help.” 

What family and domestic violence means 

Family and domestic violence includes violent, threatening or abusive behaviour that aims to control, harm or frighten another person. It may be physical, emotional, psychological, financial or social. It may come from a partner or former partner, a close relative or someone within a person’s household. 

How we support our people 

InfraBuild offers a range of practical and confidential support for employees, including: 

• Flexible work arrangements 

• Adjusted hours or locations 

• Time off to attend urgent appointments 

• Confidential counselling through the Employee Assistance Program 

• Safety planning in the workplace 

• Access to paid family and domestic violence leave 

Our EAP is available 24 hours a day for employees and their immediate families. 

Respecting privacy 

Any disclosure of family or domestic violence is treated confidentially. Information is only shared when required by law or to protect someone’s safety. 

Francisco added: 

“White Ribbon Day reminds us to challenge disrespect, support those affected and take a stand against violence. We all have a role in building safer communities and safer workplaces.”
